Information from U3A HQ for all group leaders.

"It is important that membership records are kept, even at group level, to check that all participants are members of that U3A or members of another U3A, attending with prior committee approval.  Such a list may also be required to meet fire regulations if you are in outside accommodation.  Clearly a non-member can attend a taster session but repeated visits by the same non-member would automatically disqualify that individual from U3A insurance cover.  Thus any incident causing damage/injury involving that person would not be covered under our liability insurance policy."
